Die Hard star Bruce Willis has been actively buying and selling real estate across the USA for years, but has so far failed to find a buyer for this massive estate.

As the market continues to soften, Bruce and Emma Heming Willis have dropped the price of their Bedford compound to a total of $AUD 13.83 million.

He originally paid $USD 12 million for it in 2014, according to the New York Post.

Just 40 minutes from mid-town Manhattan, the gated 8.9ha estate in Bedford Corners, New York comes with views over the Croton Reservoir and lush countryside.

The estate, which includes four homes, has been divided into two separate parcels.

Although they can still be bought together, they are now listed separately.

The main house — an 832.2 sqm abode overlooking the Croton Reservoir — is now asking $AUD 11.03 million, down from its prior price of $12.8 million.

It features five bedrooms, a chef’s kitchen with a fireplace, a wine cellar and a media room.

Bruce Willis stars as Paul Kersey in Death Wish, a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures film.

The second parcel of land has the other three homes. It is on the market for $AUD 2.78 million, down from its last ask of $2.94 million.

Altogether, the estate features two garages, a saltwater pool, a pool house and a tennis court.

Last year, Willis sold his Central Park West home for $AUD 26.45 million, then bought a One West End pad for $11.79 million.

According to Douglas Elliman broker Ann Cutbill Lenane, the couple recently sold their ritzy beachfront compound in Parrot Cay, Turks and Caicos — where they married in 2009 and renewed their vows to celebrate their 10-year anniversary.
