The Bachelor presenter Osher Günsberg has snapped up a four-bedroom semi that’s packed full of charm and potential in one of Bronte’s best neighbourhoods.
The Channel 10 reality TV presenter inked the pre-auction deal on the do-upper in behind Chesterfield Parade last Tuesday, the same day that the Wentworth Courier broke the news that he was selling his Bondi Beach investment apartment.

The semi was being marketed by Ballard’s James Ball and Shane Scicluna with a $2.4 million guide.
Both agents were tight-lipped about the purchasers, but other sources spilt the beans. It’s understood three or four people were fighting over the semi and it sold for more than $2.9 million.
Given that Günsberg and his wife, Audrey Griffen, are preparing for the imminent arrival of their first child, a boy, this looks to be the perfect choice.
Clovelly Public School is at the end of the street and Bronte and Clovelly Beaches are within easy reach.
And the home has plenty of advantages — it’s on a decent-sized 264 sqm block with a wide nine-metre frontage and there’s tandem parking for two cars at the side.
There’s also a low-maintenance courtyard.
The home has only ever had two owners and hasn’t been offered to the market for 36 years — CoreLogic shows it last traded for $75,000 in 1983.
The lower-level of the character-filled home could be turned into self-contained accommodation and the top floor could be extended to take full advantage of its ocean outlook.
Mr Günsberg’s investment apartment is in the Precinct Bondi complex at 203/79 Gould St.
Belle Property Double Bay principal Albert Sassoon and his colleague Michael Aubusson have a guide of about $1 million ahead of the August 27 auction.
The pair expect the split-level one-bedroom apartment, a block back from the beach and with off-street parking, to be popular with both first home buyers and investors.
Mr Günsberg had bought the 55 sqm flat for $550,000 in 2006.
He’s been collecting $732 per week in rent for the investment pad, which faces east so it gets the morning sun.
