Designer Rebecca Elms is selling in Redfern.

Designer Rebecca Elms and her husband David have listed their modernised Redfern home.

They’re hoping for around $2.3 million for the transformed George St residence that they bought in 2014 for $1.345 million when it was a traditional Victorian terrace.

They reconfigured the home, opening up the ground living spaces which now open to the courtyard with barbecue.

A third level has also been added, with the fourth bedroom. It now has 185 sqm of internal space on its 127 sqm holding.

The house last sold in 2014.

BresicWhitney agents William Phillips and Michael Kirk have a September 21 auction. The suburb’s 50-plus house sales this year have ranged between $910,000 and $3.3 million.

Elms opened a home and fashion store Elms on Surry Hills’ buzzing Crown Street in July last year. It seeks to showcase Australian brands.
