Fancy an “architecturally designed home complete with pet cemetery and disembodied spirits” in Willoughby?
Agents Frankenstein or the Bride of Frankenstein, of The Agency – North can help with more information.
Or how about a five-bedroom home, also in Willoughby, which is “haunted by a family of 4 and a quiet street so neighbours will hear your screams”.
It might not be an Aussie tradition, but that doesn’t stop north shore residents taking part in Halloween festivities.
And for the second year in a row, agents at the The Agency – North, and some of their vendors are having a bit of their own, unique Halloween fun.
The north shore agency has replaced a number of its for sale signs with spooky themed signs.
Agent Danny Grant, aka Frankenstein and Wolfman, said this was the second year they had placed the cheeky signs, and there had only ever been a positive response from the community.
“We have a bit of fun doing it and the owners all think it’s great,” he said.
Here is a selection to whet your appetite:
There have been a few scary sales as well, including:
The agency’s signboards will be up until November 5.
The Agency – North is also supporting the Little Wings charity – with a special Halloween board outside 47 Third Ave, Willoughby.
This board, which features horror favourites like Freddy, Jason and Michael, has a cutout where people can have photos taken for a gold coin donation. The whole of Third Ave, Willoughby is closed for Halloween and supports the charity.
Little Wings is a children’s charity that provides free, professional and safe flight and ground transport services for sick children in rural and regional NSW. It was established in 2012.
Mr Grant said he planned to dress up and go trick or treating with his family on Halloween, although he is keeping mum on what his character will be. If he can’t pull it off though, he reckons he has some alternatives.
“I think it would be quite scary if I just went as a real estate agent really,” he said.
